A Real Panic Button in Your Pocket —not buried three menus deep.
ProtectSmartly puts a serious, dependable panic button on your phone's home screen. Hold it for two seconds and every trusted contact gets your live location, identity and a distress alert. No hunting, no unlocking, no compromise.
Not a novelty — a panic button designed like life depends on it.
Some 'panic' apps require you to log in, wait for a splash screen, then tap through a modal. Ours doesn't. From the home screen, one long press fires the alert. It works when the phone is locked. It works with wet fingers, in the dark, in a shaking hand. That's the standard the design has to meet.
Multi-channel by default, so the alert always gets through.
Every alert goes out over data first, then falls back to SMS if data is unavailable, then attempts a re-send when the network returns. If you have Bluetooth accessories paired, a triple-tap can also trigger the alert. Redundancy is the point.
What You Get Out of the Box
Home-screen panic trigger
Add the widget to your home screen for a one-touch panic button, always visible, always ready.
GPS in every alert
Alerts always carry live coordinates and a nearest-address lookup so contacts know exactly where to send help.
Silent or loud modes
Choose whether the alert plays a loud siren or fires silently. Silent is default; loud is one tap away.
Alerts multiple people at once
Every alert reaches all trusted contacts simultaneously. No relay, no waiting for one person to respond.
Real Moments It Helps
Feeling followed on the street
Discreet long-press. Contacts get your live location. You keep walking, they start acting.
Home intrusion at night
Panic button from the lock screen. Family, neighbors, whoever you set as contacts, all alerted at once.
Sudden medical event
One press sends location plus your medical info card so responders arrive prepared.
Questions People Ask
Will it work if the phone is locked?
Yes. The home-screen widget and volume-key shortcut both work from the lock screen.
What happens if I accidentally trigger it?
You have 10 seconds to cancel before the alert leaves the phone. After that, you can mark yourself safe with one tap and contacts get a notice.
Does it contact police automatically?
No. It alerts the trusted contacts you chose. Automated calls to emergency services can trigger fines in many countries when accidental, so we leave that decision to you.
Is it truly free?
Yes. The panic button and 5 monthly alerts are free forever. Premium ($1.99/month) removes limits and adds richer alert history.
